Winter Heels

**Content Warning: This game deals with animal death and loss.**

You are a shepherd summering your flock high up in the mountains. Summer has ended, and Winter is close on its heels. As the snows seal the mountain top, it's time to make the descent to warmer pastures at the bottom with your flock. A yearly ritual, the journey is beautiful but not without dangers.

Move your token around a card grid and answer prompts in a journal. Each night, light a fire to scare predators away. If need be, face beasts to keep your flock safe.

A one-page (ish) solo journalling game. This game is in progress and will probably get updated for clarity/mechanics.

I would love to do an expanded zine version of this game at some point - sheepdogs, more detailed prompts, alternate game modes....
